Audiotool 2.0 is here! This release marks the start of our partnership with Burn-studios. To mark this release there is a whole host of new features for the Audiotool app as well as a shinny new website.

New app features

• Import sample Now possible to import a sample from your hard drive, from a microphone or from your own or from other user’s Audiotool arrangements (license allowing). 

• MIDI Support Hook up MIDI controllers and use them to control any of the Audiotool device parameters and patterns. Record notes or beats to timeline with MIDI keyboard.

• Record Hit the record button and record device parameter and pattern changes straight to the timeline.

• Centroid The Centroid is a 16-track mixer with all you would expect from a proper studio mixer, aux send and return, EQs for each channel, pretty faders etc. etc.

As well as these new features there are also numerous changes and improvements to existing functionality; improved sample browser, improved document handling and new timeline functionality like reverse regions, mute regions, merge regions, copy and paste regions, copy pattern to track.

Audiotool is also now wrapped in in a totally new website with lots of new features and new ways of finding and communicating with your favourite users, listening to tracks and managing your own music. Email Notifications have also been added so users can keep up with who is doing what in the community (Check your preferences) and as well as this it is now possible to browse the website using an iPhone or iPad.

We hope users do not forget our feedback forum, 2.0 would not have the features it does if it was not for the feature requests we received from Audiotool users.
