For some reason we discovered that running Audiotool on Windows is occasionally not sounding very nice. At lower frequencies the Flashplayer adds an annoying ringing sound to the Audiotool output. This sound is not audible when you publish your track. This is not an Audiotool issue but an issue for Flashplayers worldwide.

There is nothing we can do, other then writing a bug report to Adobe.

Update
This does not affect every Windows version and might be a problem with certain sound drivers with Flash. We’ll keep you posted.

Update(2) Solution
There is a workaround for that issue. Change the sampling-rate on your sound-card from 48KHz to 44.1KHz in the system settings. This is anyway the sampling-rate the Audiotool just provides. Fair enough!
