Sketch is back!
Audiotool Sketch has recently been away from the Android market but is now back. Down to the fact Sketch was off the market for so long we have decided to extend the honeymoon period, Sketch will still be available for the discounted price until the end of this month (31/01/12).

Out Now: Pan-Pot Remixes

Sasha Contest Results
Congratulations to the lucky 14 finalists of the Burn Studios Sasha Remix contest. We are disappointed (as we are sure you are) that no Audiotool users made the final 14. Our understanding was that at least 3 Audiotool users would qualify but according to the Burn Studios team, Sasha reserved the right to make the final decision.

A2 Vinyls
The A2 remixes have now arrived at the Audiotool office … on vinyl! The winning remixers as well as all of the runners-up will be receiving a copy of this limited edition 12”.
It is really exciting to receive a box of shinny records so for that reason we think we will be doing this much more in the future. We hope everyone can see the significance and fun in this, produced on the internet...

Down to the massive influx of fantastic remixes we think there is a lot more scope for this competition in terms of how the winners will be released. We Dig Music is a more tech-house label which does not really fit the open genres of Audiotool and would mean that lot of the submissions would have to be ignored because of them not fitting perfectly into this box.

Pulsate Update

Growing Pains
There has been a growing interest in audiotool.com. Because of this we have been experiencing elevated error rates. Our servers could not handle the amount of traffic.

Application loading issues
After the recent update we have seen that some users are having problems with launching the Audiotool application. We integrated simple multitouch gestures, which are only supported since Flashplayer 10.1. So if you are finding that you are no longer able to launch Audiotool then fear not, just download the latest Flashplayer version 10.1 from Adobe.

Sound issues on Windows
For some reason we discovered that running Audiotool on Windows is occasionally not sounding very nice. At lower frequencies the Flashplayer adds an annoying ringing sound to the Audiotool output. This sound is not audible when you publish your track. This is not an Audiotool issue but an issue for Flashplayers worldwide.
There is nothing we can do, other then writing a bug report to Adobe.
